A velociraptor is pretty much a 3 foot tall chicken with teeth, so it isn't really a "bigger dinosaur", especially compared to Utah raptor. (I also hope I didn't come of condescending, and if I'm wrong please reply and correct me. thanks in advance!)

It's known now that the species of dinosaurs are far less than what was originally thought. This is because dinosaurs at a young age actually looked completely different than they do when fully grown and before they knew this (which is very recent) they classified them as a different dinosaur. Even the Dino's skulls were entirely different looking at a young age than when they are fully grown which lead them to classify them as different dinosaurs. So how do they know this isn't just a baby raptor instead of calling it a different dino all together?
