Well the color pattern that you see on that snake is because it’s still hasn’t reached its full adulthood. The older they get, the blacker they get. 8+ foot specimens have been witnessed in the past but not lately, unfortunately they are needlessly killed by uneducated folks. Great video Amigo

I just caught a 5 foot specimen yesterday. Meaner than piss. Poor eye sight but shook his tail at me like a rattle snake lol. And it was caught in Southern WV.

Hey here is a pro tip when catching a snake that is dangerous or is just mean take a stick and hold it on its head lightly but put a little pressure then grab it be the head because if you control the head you control the body and if a snake (non venomous) bites you DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT ripe the snake off you skin grab it by the head and take it off I learn this the hard way
