You see, the thing is, I am unbelievably curious and I love other animals. I love interacting with them, I love working with them, I love talking to them and experiencing something new with them. I am not afraid of seeing or being around other animals, be it outside or in the water, I am afraid of...inanimate objects. I know it sounds funny but I am genuinely afraid of submerged objects. I am fully aware they cannot hurt me, but the moment I see large submerged objects such as tires, boulders, machinery, mechanical parts, logs, buildings, giant seaweed, etc, it triggers me. It triggers a reaction in my brain that instantly makes me want to escape and it puts me into severe panic mode, but that might actually be related to my mental disorder. The rational part of my mind says "those are just objects" and I KNOW they are objects, but looking at them puts me into panic. When they are outside the water however...then nothing. For example, when I look at photos of eg. an oil rig underwater, I know I am safe at home, I know photos cannot hurt me, but those images STILL give me a severe reaction and I frequently have to look away because I start panicking. Now, it is *extremely* important to know that this is something that can be managed. Anxiety disorders and paranoia are not something that can be easily handled, but fears are. Despite being scared shitless of huge depths (it's literally that, I am scared of depths and submerged objects, not creatures who live in those depths), I still go diving. It can still be an incredibly terrifying experience, so I highly recommend going with someone when diving, it can ease the panic a lot. Remember, having fears is normal and okay, you're not a bad person because of it. You are a bad person in case you become destructive because of your fears, such as killing innocent creatures like snakes, sharks, insects, arachnids and so on just because you fear them. So yeah, definitely *be brave* and *stay wild*

I tried scuba diving once as an experience with a group of people and some professionals. It was very well put together and the professional divers were lovely. However, I was not. I don't know what it was, but I was absolutely terrified. I have social anxiety, so being around so many strangers was bad enough, but I somehow struggled to use the equipment, Nothing was faulty and I understood how to use it, but I was so scared of drowning that I didn't use the equipment properly because I thought it was easier to hold my breath than to keep breathing. It wasn't and I ended up nearly drowning. I had to stay close to the surface with help from the professionals. I wish I got to see more stuff, but I guess I have a severe fear of being underwater. Being able to see videos like this one gives me the pleasure of seeing these things without having to do them myself.

All of this channel’s videos are amazing, but there’s something interesting I’ve noticed (at least for me.) Coyote’s voiceover/episodes have the feeling of being pumped to learn and wanting to go out and see/experience the videos and world. Mark’s voiceover/episodes have the feeling of calm, childhood nostalgia, and wanting to sit back and take in all the beauty you see in the videos and world. Both are nostalgic to me, but Mark’s stuff just hits that nostalgia different (in a good way). Both are brilliant, and I’ve only seen two of the ones led more by Mario! Otherwise I’d comment on his stuff, too.

What if octopi have cities deep under the ocean floor. The ones we see are just foragers, or even caretakers of reefs for food purposes. LOL
