Over years of fishing in south east Texas riverways I have hooked (not on purpose) many alligator gar (as well as other types but none are as big of fighters as the alligator gar). These things are absolute monsters, the very few times I have actually gotten one into the boat its always been a huge fight, then a quick picture and release. The best story I have of them is while fishing I hooked onto a trout and just got it close to the boat. And just as I'm getting the net the trout gets devoured by an alligator gar. Literally cut in pieces leaving mainly just the head on my hook. Most of the times the teeth of these things shred your line before you even get it close. I have bow fished before but never for gar. As a hunter you should always take conservation first. Red fish (red snapper) and carp on the other hand... Limit out baby!!!

Its most important that the next generation of youngsters are taught to protect wildlife and become conservationists . I think once the old guard is gone the animals will be better off. These shows are integral to this happening. It crushed me when Steve Irwin died, he was a real mate.

Coyote should put on a lion proof suit and head to the Serengeti. It'd be cool to film a lion attack on a person up close and personal knowing the person is safe inside the suit. He could strap a bite force guage to the suit, maybe to the arms to get an idea of how much force the attacking lions are exerting. Could maybe try the same suit with Grizzlies and komodo dragons too
