i grew up in washington and my grandparents lived in the middle of nowhere with about an acre of forest behind their house, so, growing up i would often see coyotes in their backyard kinda just chilling. i remember showing pictures of them to my friends and them being scared saying stuff like “aren’t you afraid you’ll get hurt” i never really understood what they meant because in reality they were never something that me and my family were ever scared of it was kinda more of a don’t piss them off” type of thing rather than “scary wolf thing will eat us”.

I live in Minnesota so we have coyotes. And a lot of ppl do hunt them. But also I live 6 miles out in the country and have a woods right behind my house. So hearing them howl at night is kinda cool

Coyotes deff will kill dogs and pets. But they really do even in the wild will be more scared of you. Wolfs on the other hand are dangerous because they are bigger and wolves. But also because coyotes hunt alone. Wolves live in packs

We have a whole pack of them in the back 40 of my BFs place. Its so much fun to sit at the fire pit and listen to them howl and when they find something you can tell its so eerie but soooo cool

Coyotes are seriously beatiful animals. But a quick check on google told me that what is being said here is not entirely true. Historicaly speaking, wolves images is going up and coyotes down. And its becouse in the last 70 years, there where about 160 coyote attacks on humans, most of them in North Carolina, only two of them were fatal, but they are getting used to humans in rural areas, attacking joggers and stalking small children.
